Areas of motoring interest:

Veteran - any vehicle manufactured before 31 December 1918

Vintage - motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1919 and 31 December 1931

Commercial - heavy and light commercial vehicles, including pick-ups, vans, buses and all military vehicles. Some branches have a special commercial vehicle sub group with special commercial events

Post Vintage - motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1932 and 31 December 1945

Post War Vehicles - motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1946 and 31 December 1960

Post 1960 vehicles - motor vehicles constructed between 1st January 1961 and 31st December 1980

Post 1980 vehicles - motor vehicles constructed on or after the 1st January 1981 provided that no vehicle is deemed eligible for this category until the day immediately following the 30th anniversary of its original date of construction

Historic Racing vehicles - which are at least in their thirtieth year since their year of original construction, plus Factory built racing cars no longer in production

Restoration techniques - if you are interested in restoring vehicles, and joining in with groups that share expertise, do site visits, shed visits, visit restoration businesses etc
